Hello Youth Voter Engagement Enthusiasts!
We, Beth Hollingsworth and Tom DiRuggerio, are coordinating the first ever Capture the Youth Vote Project. Beth is the youthful energy and Tom is the Voter Registrar.
We are now confirmed for Mondays tabling at Santa Fe Community College! The table has Indivisible Santa Fe signage.
Where: SFCC Student Center, Main Building
Date(s): Mondays: 8/31, 9/14, 9/21 so far (skipping Labor Day)
Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
We will be coordinating this effort with the League of Women Voters, who will be there on Wednesdays from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

My hope for this tabling is that, while we may register some voters, it's primarily about engaging young adults. Someone in my generation (X) has no idea what it means to come of voting age post-Covid, with AI flooding the information streams, and our systems of government shaken. I'm hoping to find out more of what it means & learn from them.
