Deranged. Deluded. Demented. Deceptive. Decrepit. Devious. Defective. Deplorable. Decadent. Destructive. Degenerate. Debilitated. Depraved. Detestable. Debased. Derelict. Desperate.

All adjectives that describe our forty-seventh President. However, the important adjectives are the ones that will apply just over a month from now: Defeated and Dethroned. Decisively!

How do we defeat him?  Early voting has already started in Idaho and Michigan, as well as in Minnesota and Mississippi. Americans have been going to the polls in Vermont and Virginia, in South Dakota and New Hampshire for several days now. What may be the most consequential election in our history is already underway.

What makes this election so crucial? If we take Trump at his word, it might be our last.

"Get out and vote just this time. You won't have to do it anymore. Four more years it will be fixed. It'll be fine. You won't have to vote anymore,”—Trump addressing Turning Point, July 2024
"How we have to even run against these people—I won't say cancel the election, they should cancel the election …” —Trump to House Republicans, January 2026
“When you think of it, we shouldn’t even have an election.”—Trump speaking to Reuters, January 2026

Trump seeks to retain power at all costs. He’s tried gerrymandering. He’s tried messing with the mail. His pals on the Supreme Court have demolished the Voting Rights Act. But despite it all, he’s lower than ever in the polls, facing a landslide Democratic victory in the House and possibly in the Senate too. What’s left for him to try?

We don’t know for sure. But we can be certain he will try to subvert and suppress the vote by any means necessary, lawful or unlawful.

Our best guarantee for a free and fair election is to get to the polls early. Whatever tricks he pulls on or near Election Day, be confident that your ballot has already been secured and tabulated. Banked and safeguarded.

Early voting in Santa Fe starts October 6 at the County Clerk’s office, with expanded sites across the county beginning October 17. For where and how to vote, visit SantaFe.vote, or see the highlighted No Kings Vote Early tab in the sidebar of this website.

Don’t wake up on November 4 to find yourself Depressed, Dejected or Demoralized. Vote early instead and awaken Delighted, De-stressed and Democratized!
