Celebrate GOOD TROUBLE with your OUTDOOR VOICE! Sing out to celebrate the memory of Rep. John Lewis who advocated “Good Trouble.” Singing will be led by Indivisible’s MC and song leader at NO KINGS 3.

Singing Songs of Freedom from the Edmund Pettus Bridge will include the protest songs they sang as they marched across the bridge in Selma, Alabama where they were bludgeoned by the police. Together we will sing other Civil Rights and anti-war protest songs.

On this page you will find YouTube links to each song in the order we will sing them. Listen and get these protest songs back in your ear. Use the link to download the lyrics to your phone so you’ll have them during the singalong. Or print the lyrics and bring to sing on Saturday, July 18^th at the Roundhouse at 10:00 am.

Be part of this unique, all-acoustic reenactment of the songs they sang and the way they sang them in 1963. No microphones! No amplifiers! No blaring speakers! Guaranteed that the glory of the unplugged human voice raised in song together will lift your spirits.

This is not a concert, it’s a singalong. It will take place on the patio on the west side of the Roundhouse near Don Gaspar.
