Nominations

The selection of a new Steering Committee will take place according to the provisions of our existing bylaws which state: "Leadership may periodically present a slate of nominees to the membership for ratification." 

The Steering Committee has assembled a Nominating Committee consisting of the following individuals: Natalie Curley, Jean Darling, Brian Johnson, and Scott Romans (chair). Members of the Nominating Committee will not be eligible for the slate of nominees that the Committee proposes.

A period of open nominations will occur between May 18th and June 7th. Any active and committed participant may be nominated, and participants are welcome to nominate themselves. Nominees must complete a Candidate Questionnaire (see below) and submit it to nominations@indivisiblesantafe.org by the June 7th deadline.

The Nominating Committee will gather and review all Candidate Questionnaires submitted by the stated deadline. Using a set of criteria formulated by the Steering Committee (see below), the Nominating Committee will use its best judgment to assemble a slate of nominees. The slate will be announced and published on June 15th. Attendees at the June 22nd meeting will be asked to ratify the slate of nominees. The new Steering Committee will become effective immediately upon ratification.
