How many times have you seen an American flag flying from someone’s home or the back of a vehicle and felt something negative: fear, anger, that they must be MAGA?
Just a few days before No Kings 3, flying proudly from an overpass was our American flag. Our Banner Brigade was out there, promoting No Kings and taking our flag back. It was an inspiring sight, and one that was worth extending to the No Kings gathering.

So, we decided to bring flags to ISF Central. We gave away almost 900 flags at No Kings, and people were thrilled with the message that the flag belongs to all of us, that it will not be co-opted, that it’s time to fly it proudly. Some people carried their flags upside down, which feels quite appropriate, for we are, indeed, in deep trouble. Most waved their flags high, expressing pride in our country and the steps we are taking to save her.
In the 12 weeks leading up to July 4th, please consider what our flag means to you.
What’s the best way for you to show pride in America?
Will you be flying your flag from your home? Your vehicle?
How can you, in your own way, take back our flag?
I’ve never had an American flag attached to my vehicle in any form, but I think I’ll be doing just that from now on.
It’s time to take it back. Let’s fly our American flags proudly!
