Have you ever written 1,000 postcards? Sounds daunting, doesn't it?
📰 Well, here's some good news for you: it's not! Just ask Dave Hollenbach - he's been doing this for years!
💙 All you need is a wonderful group of likeminded people focused on keeping New Mexico blue, a few dozen pens, and some of Joellen's amazing homemade chocolate biscotti! A cup of coffee doesn't hurt either.
🕥 And that's just what folks did this past Saturday morning. In just 2 short hours, exactly 1,000 postcards were personalized to people identified as not likely to vote. Research has shown that when people receive handwritten postcards, they are more likely to go to the polls. Blue CD2, a political action committee determined to keep District 2 blue and Gabe Vasquez in office, supplies the postcards and we supply the person power and biscotti!
The crowd of 27 people were from our own ISF in addition to around the Santa Fe area. It was great to catch up with some old guard ISF folks in addition to meeting new folks from the neighborhood.
