The One Million Rising Team will be hosting their final call this Wednesday, October 8th at 6pm mountain time. You can register for the event on mobilize.us.

Across the country, many have been taking part in our Signs of Solidarity, Ground Avelo, and other One Million Rising campaigns. Join the call on Wednesday to hear more about how these efforts have been going, how they’ve evolved as strategic non-cooperation has spread across the country, and how each of us can stay plugged in.

The highlight of this call will be the launch of Courage Collectives.

At previous sessions, the One Million Rising team talked about how the best way to fight authoritarianism isn't by aiming at the top, but through addressing the pillars upholding the regime. Those pillars can be houses of faith, educational institutions, military branches, and any number of other organizations, societies, or groupings of people that hold community power. But there hasn't been so much talk about how to organize to address these pillars.

Unlike your typical organizing model, pillars-based organizing may not be local. As an example, alumni of a university that is upholding the agenda of an authoritarian administration may be located across the country. On Wednesday's call we'll all learn how we can organize pillars-based communities with our Courage Collectives. **Bonus: We’ll also be giving a training on what power mapping is and how to connect it to your pillars-based organizing work.

Please make time this Wednesday evening to tune in. If you missed earlier sessions or would just like to review, check out our One Million Rising Resource Page.
