As ISF grows and becomes more of a presence locally, state-wide, and nationally, we need new policies to guide our work. We list ISF policies in the "about" section of this website. We have just added the following one.
Policy on Indivisible Santa Fe Participants' Public Statements
Individual participants in Indivisible Santa Fe who express opinions in public forums such as letters to the editor and media interviews should make it clear that they are speaking in their individual capacity, not on behalf of Indivisible Santa Fe or other Indivisible Santa Fe participants. The only person authorized to make statements on behalf of the organization is the Chair, after appropriate consultation with the steering committee. This is in no way to discourage Indivisible Santa Fe participants from expressing their views in any forum of their choosing nor to suggest they ought not say, where appropriate, that they participate in Indivisible Santa Fe. When Indivisible Santa Fe participants do mention their activity in Indivisible Santa Fe, they should clearly state that this does not mean their views are those of the organization or of other participants.
All posts on the Indivisible Santa Fe website reflect the views of the individual author, except posts from "ISF Leadership." Views in the Indivisible Santa Fe newsletter are the individual views of the newsletter author, not views of Indivisible Santa Fe as an organization nor of any other Indivisible Santa Fe participant.
