On Wednesday, January 7th, Renee Good was killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This killing is part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities. In Minnesota tomorrow, January 23, there is an "ICE out of Minnesota Day of Truth & Freedom" action. Walkouts, an economic strike, and a march are planned for Minnesota. A broad coalition of groups across the country, including Indivisible, is calling for coordinated Ice Out For Good actions on Friday, January 23rd in solidarity for Minnesota, and to demand accountability, honor the life lost, and make visible the human cost of ICE’s actions.
Indivisible Santa Fe is holding on Bluesky a virtual visibility event to stand with Minnesota and to protest ICE, Customs and Border Patrol, and DHS abuses across the United States.
You can participate by following Indivisible Santa Fe on Bluesky Throughout the day on January 23 watch for ISF Bluesky posts hashtagged #ICEOutForGood and #NMStandsWithMN.
