If you're like me, I am so stressed out and some days overwhelmed with all that is happening in our world right now. I feel like I am on a hamster wheel running as fast as I can, trying to do as much as I can in the effort to save our precious democracy. Some days I want to just stick my head in the sand or space out.
I may have a solution for you! Each Friday we have a group that meets with their signs at the corner of Zafarano and Rodeo for just one hour to protest the problems facing our country. My stress seems to melt away and I zone out, as I wave to to cars passing and hear the beeps or see the waves of motorists. I'm not thinking about things and feeling stressed, I am focusing on reaching out to those motorists encouraging them to think about the messages on our signs. When I get a good response it just reinforces my belief that we are going to make it though all this. I feel this surge of relief.
If you are interested in relieving some stress, come join our core group. We would welcome you . The more people, the more powerful.
Check the fun photo of our group showing off all their creative signs!

Every Friday the Southside Protest group meets at 12 noon to 1:00 pm at Zafarano and Rodeo to wave our signs. Always enjoying that freedom from stress.
Park in the Target parking lot close to Zafarano. Bring your creative signs and flags. See you there...if not this Friday, then Fridays to come.
