WHAT: Protest the “public meeting” by the Department of Energy (DOE)
WHEN: September 10, 2025 from 4:30-4:45 pm, just before the DOE meeting from 5-7 pm
WHERE: Outside SALA Event Center, 2551 Central Ave., Los Alamos, New Mexico 87544
Help us make Fire On The Mountain a threat that everyone knows about. We’ve been informed; everyone deserves to be. We’ve invited our mascot, D.O.E.-zo The Clown, and The Plutonium Players to attend and they will demonstrate how clownishly DOE handles dangerous nuclear waste. We’ve invited the media and, if a crowd shows up, they will cover it. That will inform even more people. Remember, we need lots of YOUs.
The 15-minute protest is in Los Alamos from 4:30- 4:45. DOE’s meeting will follow from 5-7. If you can only make the protest, come! Join us to tell this federal “emperor” that it has no clothes. We need you.
